February 2-3, 2008, Dothan, Alabama
The 8 hour road trip to Dothan, Alabama for a National Race. Our car was loaded with Daddy, Mom, Raul Jr., Jonathan Villa, and me. Jen, Mike, Maddie, and Jack followed us in their car. It was Junior’s first National Race and his first time out of the state of Florida. We also celebrated Junior’s 14th birthday on Saturday.

Tucker won both days in the 10 Expert class and came in 2nd both days on Cruiser. In the cruiser class he was combined with the 11 and 12 year olds and was able to pull the 2nd to Maliek, who is one of the top 12 Expert riders in the country.
Junior won both the 14 Novice main both days. Daddy made the Pro main on Saturday and finished 7th. Jonathan Villa made the Pro main both days and finished 2nd and 1st.
Maddie and Jackson had a great weekend racing both bikes and making it to their mains.
After all that racing and driving we made it home to watch the 2nd half of the Super Bowl, where the New York Giants beat the New England Patriots. My Dad was so excited because his Miami Dolphins are still the only team to go undefeated.
