At Everglades City, we walked about 1 mile to the historic Rod & Gun Club in town. The place is really neat with all kinds of animal skins from bobcats, gator, wild boar, rattle snakes, and deer, and all kinds of fish like tarpon up on the walls. The place was built as a hunting and fishing lodge in the 1920's. We had lunch there and I ate gator nuggets. They were good!
